HSBC-UK British Cycling Women\u2019s Road Series 2018 | Round 1<\/h3>\n

Storey Racing\u2019s Becks Durrell powers up the final ascent of Michaelgate to claim the first round victory in the HSBC-UK BC 2018 National Women\u2019s Road Series and takes the Series Leaders Jersey into round 2, the CiCLE Classic on June 03rd. Henderson 2nd and Juniper 3rd.<\/p>\n

Durrell & five other riders formed the main break of the day early on including former Series Winner NJC-Biemme-Echelon\u2019s Nikki Juniper, Cycle Team On-form\u2019s Anna Henderson, Fusion RT Veloperformance\u2019s Molly Patch, Torelli-Brother\u2019s Jennifer George & Trek-Drops Manon Lloyd.<\/p>\n

The race leaders set a high tempo extending to around a minute as Team Breeze chased hard. Unable to stay in contact, Molly Patch drifted back and Juniper tried a solo break, claiming the Ian Emmerson Michaelgate Trophy for her effort.<\/p>\n
