New Zealand follow but slip into second at this point. Germany call for a re-start, but this seems to disrupt their rhythm and manage tenth over-all. The Russian Team then lead through the first three laps but loose momentum on the final push to qualify in seventh. Spain move into the second position with a 4:03.102, but end up eventually just outside the medal play off.<\/p>\n<p>Denmark set the quickest time so far. But a poor change over in the later stages probably cost them a Gold\/ Silver final ride. They will contest the Netherlands for Bronze in the evening finals session.<\/p>\n<p>Second to last qualifiers Great Britain post the first and only sub four minute ride. Owain Doull, Steven Burke, Ed Clancy and Andrew Tennant progress to the Gold\/ Silver play-off.<\/p>\n<p>Final qualifiers Australia are the last-off.
